Head of Digital Development
Whitney Museum of American Art · NYC · 2021–present
- Lead the Digital Development department, overseeing whitney.org and key platforms including the online collection, ticketing and membership systems, digital analytics, and digital signage.
- Own technical decision-making and shape museum-wide digital strategy and user experience.
- Ensure compliance with web accessibility standards including WCAG 2.1/2.2, legal requirements including GDPR and other data privacy guidelines, and UX best practices through research studies and other initiatives.
- Manage 1–2 direct reports, providing mentorship and direction across projects.
- Partner with curators and artists on the museum’s digital art program, artport, supporting new commissions and archival artworks, including those using experimental technologies including AR, VR, and AI/LLM’s.
